Recommended Tests

Ok here gos saw the free promo for the little ondemad boxes and figured i would set up my computer as a second tv using my tv tuner card
(its a Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150) the only problem is after I activate the ondemand box no picture.  Google a help ? to see how to set it up and the only thing i could find is using a set top box and the media center remote.  I don't have the media center remote so here is the work around.
 
Run through normal set up for you tv signal when it asks you if you have a set top box check no
 
then it will search for your cable signal most people will have to signal close to them one will be analog the other digital
 
select the digital signal let set up do it thing
 
once set up is finished set your channel to 3 and use the remote that came with your little on demand box
 
and presto digital signal and media center with the little ondemad box

is where you choose the signal since i already set it up if forgot the scree shot but there shoudl be at least 2
ANYTOWN USA     or  this one ANYTOWN USA (DIGITAL)  it will ask you for confomation of your signal just to make sure that is what you want
