Is it possible for a Terayon Modem to limit your RWIN?  Or can a modem resize a packet at all?

« [this.site.has.been.blocked.for.spamming] TCP Analyzer Results »
Tested on: 07.22.2007 17:05
IP address: 68.62.xxx.xx

TCP options string: 020405b40103030201010402
MSS: 1460
MTU: 1500
TCP Window: 65700 (multiple of MSS)
RWIN Scaling: 2
Unscaled RWIN : 16425

Local Rwin is set to 513920.  Anyone point me in the direction for the difference?

You are apparently correct on the Vista comment, there seem to be many many reg entries concerning packet handling now vice xp or 9x so I guess I will spend an afternoon digging.

Frankydp if you have XP or earlier Cablenut does a good job of making the registry entries for you .If you select show paths in CN options it shows you where the registry setting goes. This will work even if you don't make any settings in CN.If you want to make them manually or research them first.
Search some of VanBurens posts on AFD parameters & recieve & send windows in XP.
If you have Vista CN is pretty much useless.
