As you take a look at my sig consider this, recently here at testmy my uploads are far from where they were once before. Now I ran test at http://speedtest.cogeco.net and here are my results: 
14456 / 1747 (Kbps)
(1764.7 / 213.3 kB/sec)
I cannot seem to achieve upload results that are close to what I receive from rr.com here at testmy anymore.

This one was from [this.site.has.been.blocked.for.spamming] (NYC):

The speedtest server is not responding to the trace route or pings but your route to testmy.net has alot of hops and packetloss on dallas level3.net.  What do you get to other mirrors in texas ?

I dont know what it could be other than a slow route because you said you get good speeds to closer sites.    Do you have Windows XP or Vista ?

I have XPPro and my uploads here were like those at other test sites anywhere from 1.5Mbps to 1.9Mbps up, now it's around 800Kbps up.

The only adjustment I made was to the network adapter and switching it from Full Duplex to automatic after rr.com gave me the upgrade, now I ran upload test here after the fact and was doing swell; now as you can see...not so swell.

Oh I don't put validation links in my sig, it's just to crowded and that is a valid upload result from here!
