i don't want to take sides here, I'm just gonna say some things from my point of view.
i think what jun101ph means is that it is ineffective for him, as suggested by the words "
I
find" in his post. he's just saying he's findings with his own computer, that's all.

and one more thing, please do not pretend that you have PROVEN something
what does that mean, are you challenging him to prove something? what does he have to prove? i think that's way out of line.
to tell you the truth, i don't use that 20 steps anymore. gourame is right, should just chill out. makes people think you're freaking out just because somebody disagrees with you.

i know i can't please everyone.
but if jun101ph discredits something just because he believed its the changing of the color code (access point/base station) that matters most, which makes all the other posts on tweaks inefficient, why is he singling out the 20 steps post?
did you guys get what i mean? please read his recent posts.
jun101 even branded testmy.net's speed tests as inaccurate. then why is he still here? to derail forum topics? just asking.
frost, i don't care if you use the 20 steps or not. as long as there are other smartbro users who believe in tweaking, as long as it is worth helping them speed up their connections, i will be here to help even if i am not paid a single centavo. did you get me?
besides, i understand that anytime anywhere, there is always someone who has what is popularly called "crab mentality".
i don't even care who that is. i just care for those who believe that i can help them. and truly, i will help them in my own little ways

WTF is your problem coolbuster??? IF you wanna be an expert on something consider the opinions and findings from others and weigh things out. Don't be narrow minded. I personally test the things you post and I found it ineffective.
I don't care how will you react on this, for as long as I shared my findings to others so that they won't waste their time on something that is bogus.
Why would you take it so personal? Hmmmm maybe cause you believe in yourself that everything you post are true? think again!!!

Question:
After tweaking, how's your download speed in torrent and browsing? Maybe you can get a super fast speed in testing your bandwidth but how about the real performance? If it's okay, then good..
