My card manufacturer offered a life time warranty. If my old card was to mysteriously break in the next few days what do you think they would replace it with?

Is this a sensible upgrade route

My BFG 6800gt died last year and i was able to call up and get it replaced but with the same card.  I don't think they will upgrade you at all.

they only upgrade if they dont have same card in stock
