Recommended Tests

The idiot stopped half way in the road when he finally looked back over his left shoulder, just a fraction of a second , he would have killed the guy.

 He would have been screwed if the court would have gotten him, because everyone watched as he caused people to crap there pants when he went left of center to get ahead of the traffic.



   

Right, but it was the point , it was VERY close.

The stop sign runner hit the truck, the truck was going 50+  (legal) and it was hauling a horse trailer with two horse, I'm pretty sure at least on of them is ok, they were walking it around.

 Then the  "stop sign runner veered off, and plowed through a tree ( not good at all ) .

 The bus was in front of me, turning left, it;s a real tight turn, you wouldn't normally go that way, the cars that were headed towards the accident ( btw, I never did understand why they call it an accident, it is not, you dont run a stop sign " on accident, you weren't paying attention )  anyway, they cars were doing 45 + , and blew there horn at the bus like she was wrong, it is only 35 mph going that way, it's a blind curve.

 Then, the bike came around, and the jackass almost caused another wreck.

 Poeple, please, just look around, your not going to get there ANY sooner ! There have been many studies done, and you just dont get there any faster !!!!!  So please, just enjoy your ride, and your life, because it is very short comparatively speaking.

This is why the light should remain red for both directions at least 2 seconds.Most don't but check it out some do.
If all lights used 3 seconds all red it would be fine with me.

tdawnaz ;I know were on the same page.You wanted a 3 second wait at the green light which is the best way when the light turns green as soon or with little delay as the other direction light turns red.
What I would like is the light for one direction is red.The other direction light turns red.The first light remains red for 3 seconds before it turns green.
This way the wait is built in so no one gets mad & honks.
Of course it doesn't do much for the red light runners but has been proved to save lives.
btw the longest I've been at are about 2 seconds that are doing this.I think 3 seconds might be better.
With that an extra wait of 3 seconds probably wouldn't be necessary but there are probably bad drivers out there that constantly run red lights that would try to time the delay too.So the extra 3 seconds on green even then might be a good idea.
