the initial smartbro installation was fine with me. it has downsides (disconnects twice or thrice in 3 hours, constant lag but i can still bear it). then after a week i cannot even have a decent download speed.(it was like always below 20kb)

called smartbro twice...after 3 weeks i got a response that a techteam will finally go to my place.

they say the canopy is broken or something, so they replace it.

see if my speedtest sux.

tried all that i can find here...

i even call their techsupport... they say they will send ANOTHER team to see whats wrong.

to tell u honestly sir, the initial installation was very good, then after a week i got an intermittent conn, then the third week it was like disconnect in every few hours.then they replace it.bad to worse. the so called "defective" canopy was giving me at least a 30-40 kb download speed..whereas the new canopy is giving 1.8 (the best is 6Kbps).

i dunno what to do anymore. all the tweaking and the smrtbro tech advises... zzz... getting dizzy.

maybe they are having technical problems at the base station. if you tried all that you can find here then there is no reason for your speed to be so slow.

ya. that may be the reason. i hope.

they come here ths 23 Aug. i hope they can fix this.

problem is, the last techteam that came here last saturday 18 aug, said it was the base stations fault, and they keep telling me that i have to add another pole to increase the height of my canopy. currently im using 2 poles. and my place, well its really situated high, my point is, the initial installation was ok and then they want me to add another pole?thats absurd.if my initial pole height is good the why should i add anoyher? (they say trees grow and all that crap etc... jeesh!

anyways thanks for your help sir...

ill post when that techteamcrap shows up.

ok. so you mean they want to make you use 3 poles? i myself use 2 poles. and the price of that pole they use isn't cheap.

ya i use 2 poles.

they charge P450 for a single pole i think...
but im not raising this canopy anymore. i got better conn as it was, im only hoping that they give me the same conn as the first installation.

my wife wants to discontinus any services from smartbro but i want to give it another try coz there are no available means to get any isp here in my area (i live in san juan metro manila, but i called pldt(no data line), globe (no available slot), destiny cable (area non serviceable due to "area exposed to illegal" errr, why should i be block if im in the same block,im not even a subscriber?..grrrrr.

i really wanna see this techteam by myself.cant wait.

welcome to the TMN Community @ hctiws

just be patient. wait for the techs to come.

for the meantime. clean your pc from viruses, spywares, adwares, trojans, junk & unwanted registry files. reformatting is the last option if its still slow; back-up important files before doing it though.

btw, if you are interested you may dropby my blog, i got some nice stuff there for you to explore. click here http://coolbusteratyourservice.blogspot.com/

here's how to post a test result image instead of text. click, copy the code then paste in your post.
