Its not a bad service.
yer not that bad, but that 128k uplaod sucks dont it lol.
And compared to verizon FIOS it takes the pish lol.
15MB down and 2MB up for under 30 quid a month.

hello, im from Ireland and i want to install this ntl 3mb/0.3 ,maybe somebody know how it looks in games? Im playing a lot in quake3 and now quake4 in Europe... u know something about pings in Europe, for example : sweden, germany, france, nl and uk Smile

yeah you should be alright
ntl had really good pings when i was using them about 1year ago
i dont know why that has changed so i would expect a good service from them

what is the upload needed in quake 4 do you know ?

Bandwidth: QUAKE 4 Multiplayer is bandwidth intensive. This means that a slower upload speed will be able to support fewer combatants. Recommended maximum players for broadband upload speeds under OPTIMAL conditions are provided below:
128Kbps - 4 players 512Kbps - 10 players
256Kbps - 6 players 768Kbps - 12 players
384Kbps - 10 players LAN - 16 players
