Has anyone else been playing the new Enemy Territory: Quake Wars?
I really like this new game! The graphics are great (If you have high end GFX card) and the team play is very good... cool
It's kind of like the best of ET & BF 2142 combined into one game! I think it's a blast flying the attack vehicles... (GDF-Anansi & Strogg-Tormentor)
If you haven't checked it out download the demo and play it to see what you think. Right from the get go I loved it!  wink

Anansi Attack Copter

Yes, the gameplay is very solid. As I said, right away I loved this new game! There's already a bunch of FULL servers up and running playing this game that are pretty much packed all the time now and it was only released Oct 2nd.
I'm still playing the Demo online because I'm waiting for the full game I ordered to be delivered to me.  smiley

Yes I've already downloaded and played COD 4 as well as TimeShift.
When they release Hellgate Demo I want to check that out too...
Ever since I got my new gaming system I've been downloading and playing demos that require a system with Muscle to turn on all the eye candy which this system handles very well... NERD!

I did some pricing on just the parts and putting it together myself with no warranty at all & compared it to what ABS could build me with my configurations and it was just a little more so I had them build it for me...I'm extremely satisfied with the results!
Even without overclocking at all this system screams, but with it overclocked slightly I can turn the graphics up even more. Like AA & AF settings & still have around 100 FPS or more.
So now I have a warranty in case something breaks or goes bad because they built it instead of me. Only took 5 days for them to build it and have it sent to me. (not one scratch)  wink

Still, looks like you got a decent system...

Not only does this system meet specs of what it should do, but actually surpasses them on most of the benchmarks I've ran.  smiley
Btw, just got done playing the Bioshock demo...Crazy weird game...LOL Good graphics...1/2 hour of gameplay for 1.8GBs of demo download!

FEAR with ALL the eye candy turned on at AAx6 & AFx8.

This of course looks much better at 1680x1050!

Try X3: The Reunion, though I don't have a printscreen of it.. my computer can't reneder it cause it needs a fast and extreme graphic card..

Pentium4 2.4 GHz
512 mb RAM
256mb 128bit Nvidia FX 5500

No it won't be able to handle those games at all and the graphics card won't be able to render the shaders for those games.
(That's almost the same specs of my OLD system but I had 1GB of systems memory and I was overclocking the CPU & Vidcard)

The processor (P4 2.4GHz- 1 thread)  is way to slow, and you don't have anywhere near enough systems memory to run them...
I'd say the Least amount of systems memory would be 2 GBs...
Even if you could, you'd have to turn all the eye candy off and have all your setting to low with no AA or AF.
These new games are very demanding on the graphics, memory and processor speeds as well as shader rendering and speeds of the vidcard.

Memory: A-DATA 2GB (4x 512mb sticks.)

Just curious why did you go with 4 512mb sticks instead of 2 1GB sticks?

well it was a weird situation...i was buying from newegg and they were out of stock with the 2 1GB sticks and since i was in the process of returning a dead on arrival motherboard....i just was too eager to get this thing built so i placed the order for the 4 512mb sticks....i know i should have waited but it was my first build and i wanted to get it done....stupid mistake i know...  Laughing

edit- i know i could've gotten a different brand of ram since the oens i wanted were out of stock...but i wanted A-DATA ram....i've never had problems with them so i stuck with them.
