I can program quite well in C, C++, python, perl, and php. I also can program halfway decent in Visual Basic. I program my own modules for the Unrealircd client (IRC Server), and love doing it.
If anyone needs a program made just ask, and i'll do it. I spent 5 years in college doing programming, and network security.

Most of the people here dont know all how to code or are just starting.. so html is a good way to start.. build the basics then start with the real stuff..

what do you call noobish coding ? the way this is integrated with php !? ...if you're refering to that, php is probably the easiest language to integrate forums into - it is also the most effective one....i hope you have done c++ and other types of programming - if you have, think about this: how much work would it involve and how much more memory overhead would it involve to design this with java for example......it wouldnt be effective, period.
....if you're not refering to this, disregard this post ;)

If you are new to coding, and really want to learn (HTML) Hyper Text Markup Language is the way to go. This site is perfect for the newb looking to learn basic html/dhtml ect.
http://draac.com/
Start with HTML then move on to javascript then maybe dable in php or perl then prehaps consider C or C++
