i made my facts up lmao it worked because they really valued me as a customer..

Your gettign there my friend.... Is that during a peak time for you? I think I can get 7Mbps if I test during an off peak time, My test was ran during high traffic time. I'll try later.

Yes, that test was done around 1 am I think.  I don't know what else to do to enhance it more.  It seems to have reached its baseline speed ranging from 480 to 550Kbps, though I was able to get 650Kbps once.  I'm not too familiar with the color codes yet, I fear it might do more bad than good fiddling with the settings.

I find that Firefox gives a little more speed out of my connection compared to IE (use optimized or turbo charged setting). I initially used j79zlr's tips and tweaks to compute for cablenut settings and some from coolbuster's.  I find MTU of 1500 to be more stable or consistent with regard to speed testing randomly. I worked my way from tcp optimizer's default windows setting; tweaks from [this.site.has.been.blocked.for.spamming] too - really a whole bunch of them like fruit salad

wew! coolbuster's 20 steps really worked for me! before my speed was 554 and after following the 20 steps, here's my speed now! great, isnt it?
