Recommended Tests

the test on this site is way off for my speed everytime I do it.  Is the site broken or what?  My speed on [this.site.has.been.blocked.for.spamming] is: http://www.[this.site.has.been.blocked.for.spamming]/result/218255484.png 

and its like 2000/400 here.  Any help?

 if the download and upload is inaccurate its inaccurate.  this site is fine.  The tests don't work.  I'm sorry you need a hug and are dating this site.  I picked every size offered here and get a different low reading everytime(2800 or worse/600 or worse..)

  Nobody is spamming anything.  the illegal supposedly spamming(speedtest)is the most accurate site Ive found.

 I just wondered why the test here is so bad.   The number of posts I put here?  You really are clueless.  What does that matter? Your post to me wasn't helpful was it. How many you posted?  LOL

thanks for your helpful reply.  I cleared the cache under tools and delete all(browsing history). 

Still getting 2800/500 readings   I know its faster than that(Im getting 12000/1500 elswhere). 

Any helpful response is appreciated. 

My san diego roadrunner is rated 15000/1500(it runs 18500/1700 most days).

While I understand your post, you could have worded it much better my friend. I am disappointed in this post. Name calling will NOT be accepted PERIOD here. This is an official warning. If you wanted a better response you could have worded your post MUCH better. Welcome to the forum, I think you will find that with the right attitude this is a very nice place to hang out. You must also understand we have had alot of spam from competing sites due to testmys growth and respect so please understand why some members can be testy at times.

Goes to show how different sites react differently. When I ping TMN, I get a high of 19ms and a low of 11ms. My DL is almost always around 7500-8000 Kbps:

When I go to that "other site", I get ping times of over 200ms and my DL speed this morning was 2726Kbps. TMN's server is in Dallas, the other one is in Austin and I am in Houston which makes TMN's server farther from me than the other guys'. They used to have one in Houston (it disappeared recently) that showed similarly poor results.
