thank you all reply-ers.  I apologize for getting a couple of people upset.  My original post had no name calling.  It was a factual post.  My response to starship?  I called him heyman?  and clueless because "you are only smart if you post alot was inferred".  I apologize if this was out of line. 

I posted my speed from another site thinking this would help show my speed.  I'm not spamming anything.  Ive always used this site and tell my clients to use it. It has not been accurate for me I even got my cable company out here and had new cables installed with a dedicated connection.  He showed my speed on the "other site" telling me that this site is inaccurate.  I don't want to believe that.  Cable guys aren't the SmarTest.  So I posted here.

my speed result this am on this site using tdawnz links:  ::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Download Connection is:: 5821 Kbps about 5.8 Mbps (tested with 48638 kB)
Download Speed is:: 711 kB/s

Bottom Line:: 102X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 1.44 sec
Tested from a 48638 kB file and took 68.453 seconds to complete

the other site has me at 14085Kbps or 1760kBs down and 558Kbps or 69.8kBs up

which is no way correct...but this is how i always test out there...i like the numbers but they aren't real...maybe ur paying for one package but they really have u set up on another...maybe that's why they want u to test there...just a thought...how about test results from other sites

i pay for 15000/1500.  my fastest run around 20000/1900.  I use downloaders like flashget which also shows the download speed of whatever your downloading.  I definitely get the fast speeds shown by other site.  This is the only site I get bad readings.  Ive tried several.

if your the one that posted links- I did

 the big one just froze IE and did nothing but take forever.  didn't find any other mirrors(links).  my posts keep getting moved all over the place.  You want to post a link here again I will test and report results.  thank you for your help.
