ok im making a website about music bands and their show times

so im wondering if theres a way to put all the bands and times in one big database like a spreadsheet and program the website to find which band this page is for and show any times associated with that band title

i know in c++ theres a way to cin information from a file using infile and then programing it to look for a keyword and display a string after it

can this be done with an html page

and how?

is mysql the awnser?

Look around for a simple php forum script that allows you to input info into a database, there are several out there, and you can customize them.

If you are using a webhost that runs cpanel with fantastico, I believe there is a script for this already in fantastico
