I got a new Ipod so I had to update Itunes for it to work because generation 7 ipods only work with itunes 7.4 or more. So I downloaded the most recent version from apple's website and tried installing, which seemed to go fine. Then I tried to start it and the window didn't appear. My computer seems to have loaded the program since it shows up in task manager (as well as Itunes helper) but there is no window and it won't play music if I try to open a file with it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Itunes was working before I updated. Any suggestions how to fix that?

I had it half fixed by reverting to an older version but there was still some trouble. I'l try uninstalling quicktime since I don't use it anyways; I only need the browser plugins.
