I am running Windows XP Home edition and just signed up for verizon high speed internet access. My modem arrived yesterday and i set everything up and in an hour or so I was already surfing the ne. Today, however I couldn't connect! I tried repairing the Local Connection but keep getting an error message like the following:

Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed: Renewing your IP address.

I don't get it what is going on because just yesterday I was connecting just fine now I can't do nothing. Please help me anybody out there. THANK YOU!!!!!
