Ok, this is probably a silly question, but if I disable SSID broadcast in my Linksys WRT54GS wireless router, will the computers I have listed in my wireless router's MAC address filter list still be able to connect to the router?

It just won't broadcast the router's SSID but yes they will still be able to connect.

Yes they will still be able to connect. But if you are doing this for security reasons, don't waste your time.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I couldn't find the definitive answer anywhere else.  smitten

No, I'm not going to do it for security reasons. I already have that taken care of. I was just curious what would happen if the SSID wasn't broadcast.
