This week is a bad week for me! My sister is getting married, and am going to be eating cake tomorrow lol. I'm getting really strict on my diet next week. I will end up probably doing 1.5 miles on the treadmill every night next week.

I went from 250 to 180 in six months when I was younger. Do what you got to do for the moment! Have a good time, its good for you. Just don't forget to keep doing the good stuff to loose the weight! We all slip now and then but its not the end of the world unless you let it be the end! I got faith in you!  smitten

Well, I will give you guys a little story. Reason I even started this diet was because of a girl. I like her a lot! I figured maybe she didn't like me because of my size. So I pushed myself on a diet. BUT now this girl is like a sister to me and I don't care what people think anymore. Forget saggy skin! I got time, it'll come off when it is ready! I'm just glad I been doing so great, and I feel incredible! Honestly though, I feel that I have been falling apart slower, slower, and slower. A few days ago I went to Erie, PA with my sister who is home from Goosecreek, SC. We went to Chic a Fila or something like that. I had a grilled chicken sandwhich with just lettuce on it and low fat mayo, a medium fruit cup, and a bottle of water. and TODAY for dinner I had A pice of pizza which was prolly 4 inches by 4 inches with huge crust, a part of a ham sub which was probably only 3 inches big, and a macadamia nut cookie. I feel freakin' HORRIBLE. I hope I can just get back in my regular diet! I want to shed these 30 lbs by end of summer.

OH S#!t, the way your rolling dude no problem. And do not just stop one day, back down gradual like. And as usual, your doing fine. S#!t try what your doing when you get near 50, it sucks. Nothing goes like it should. So get down and stay down.  wink

LIke cocknuck said, when I was younger, I'd drop 50 lbs in less than 2 months, and be buff. Now I can lose the weight, but the only buff I can seem to get is at the end of a rag when  I wax...something. ( I could not think of anything I wax anymore. Boy have times changed. No car or shoes anymore )

k...here's what i found out...just got my call back (he was outta town)

low weights...high reps alternating days high weights low reps...to build muscle mass to help reconnect and pull back the skin...and lean protein or protein shakes...can't just melt the fat and not give it something else to grab onto...and no it won't add size...just lean muscle mass...like the guy in sequoia's link said...

lubricate a couple times a day with high concentration vitamin E oil to help draw the skin back...

and it can take up to a year for skin to go back...but worth the effort...make surgery ur last choice after u've tried everything else...

Thanks Momma T  Very Happy Where can I purchase High Concentration Vitamin E Oil? Also I think I will only be able to use like 10lbs weights, because of my shoulder. Now I got to find me a 10lb weight, all I have is a 20lb weight in dumbbells.

wyantm06 ;Personally I'm not a fan of high weights myself.Too much potential for injury for an average person.
Light weights & high reps is the way to go.But I would put the 20lb dumbell in the light category for a lot of exercises but not all.
Go ahead &use it on the not injured shoulder.I doubt if you will get that one sided. For the injured shoulder you need to find an exercise you can do to strengthen it.
I haven't had to use Vitamin E to tighten skin or on stretch marks but I have used it to heal cuts & make scars disappear.
I just use the 400 IU capsules like you take for the oil.If you need a more concentrated amount buy the 1000IU capsules.

sequoia...believe me this friend of mine knows what hes talking about...cage fighter/bounty hunter/bouncer...built like a brick S#!t house now...used to be a really hefty dude...the 56,000 iu skin oil is the way to go...

i got it all straight from an expert that's been there done that...

wyantm06...i asked him about the weight thing...he said do what u can...heavy weights just means u have to make an effort to lift it...not talking 100 lb weights...if it pulls at all he said it's too much...u should feel no pain...go to walmart and get a set of 5 and 10 lb weights...start there

Don't know the name of the oil, but you know there's no need to feel that way, I know where your coming from though. I feel like an idiot that can't put down a stupid cigarette, sounds pretty childish, but hey , I will.

What about this one tdawnaz? http://www.amazon.com/Vitamin-Skin-Oil-10000-IU/dp/B000BW4U58/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1214477778&sr=8-4 It is 10,000 I U instead of the 56,000IU that you linked me. Will the one at Amazon be better?

that one would be fine too...but the one i linked u to is more than 5 times as strong and only costs twice as much

but either one...i just linked u to the one that i use...i know maybe u don't have a walgreens where u live but they'll mail it to u and i don't think they charge shipping...not sure tho

there r alot of products out there...just look that it's for skin and the higher concentration the better...and an oil rather than a cream
