Atm I play CoD 4, and sometimes Guitar Hero 3, Halo 3, Madden 08, and SOON Rainbow Six Vegas 2 which I love the Rainbow series. Yeah thanks, I am going to stick to my diet and workouts. My goal is to lose 50lbs by end of summer. and my main goal is to be around 200-220lbs then turn rest into muscle.
I love the Rainbow Six series too. I play CoD 4 as well. Lately I've been into rpgs and jrpgs to be exact. Lost Odyssey,Dragon,Mass Effect and Oblivion. Even Arkadian Warriors on xbla too lol.

through out ur day ur burning many more calories than just what u burn on the treadmill...the treadmill or walking or what ever exercise u've chosen is just to add an activity to ur normal routine to burn more than u would without that activity...this is why the workout or walking u get at work doesn't count, because ur body and ur metabolism has already adjusted for that amount of activity to keep u at the weight u are.

all i know is... if u want to lose u must burn more than u take in...ur metabolism must remain high to do that...as sequoia said...dropping below an optimal calorie intake throws u into starvation mode by slowing ur metabolism so u don't "waste away"

start ur day with aerobics and a big breakfast following...this will set u in high gear...does for me anyway...don't skip meals...eat at least three...eat slowly and enjoy each bite and then listen to ur body...when u feel full stand up and...walk ur plate to the garbage disposal and flush what's left...just do it...it's okay not to clean ur plate...mom doesn't mind...really

minimize the caffeine...it's a diuretic which will cause u to "dry out" and that will cause u to retain fluid "camel effect" again ur body's way of hanging on to what it has in case u don't supply more...

lots of water, half ur body weight in ounces per day is a must (300 lbs=150 oz) but half ur weight in oz plus 10% is better if ur exercising vigorously...but no more than 70% of ur weight in oz (u risk diluting the electrolytes in ur blood and that can cause a potentially life threatening situation...

don't exercise within a couple of hours of going to bed because u won't get restful sleep...but as sequoia said this doesn't include sleep because for men it releases a chemical that induces sleep (they think this goes back to cavemen days...it was essential for the females to get pregnant so insure this...nature put her mate to sleep so she'd be free to go out and continue to breed with possibly more fertile males...hahaha)

so that's my thoughts

Ok, I have another quick question. I read taking a Tablespoon of Apple cider Vinegar before bed will help burn fat quicker to. Is it true?

Apple cider vinegar is very gross in taste and I'm not quite sure if it helps the metabolism. But I do know I had a hiatal hernia and severe heart burn and acid reflux really bad a couple years ago and I took a tablespoon here and there for a couple of days in a week back then and I even took the apple cider pills as well. My problems went away after about a week of that home remedy stuff.

I've heard there is something special about the apple cider vinegar most commercial pickles wouldn't be made with it.But a cup of pickle juice once in a whiles not bad. Some people mix the AC vinegar with honey.

there r a ton of medicinal uses for apple cider vinegar...in a hurry so i won't go into it now...

my daughter uses it religiously...super flat tummy...she's a fitness freak...says it raises ur metabolism...
she takes it in the morning and before dinner...4oz of warm water...and a tablespoon of the vinegar...chug a lug...and down it goes...she doesn't even make a face...so don't be a wuss...no u wouldn't want to drink it straight...that would burn like hell...

for a sore throat 2oz warm water 1/4 tsp of salt and a teaspoon of vinegar...gargle...3 times a day...poof no more sore throat...breaks up the mucus causing the sore throat...and the vinegar is a natural antiseptic...

tommie gorman Sodium (salt) only affects the blood pressure of about 25% of the population. If you are one of that group then you need to keep you sodium intake to a minimum. For all others a normal amount is OK.Excessive sodium isn't good for anyone.
So easy on the pickle juice.
tdawnaz I've never noticed the apple cider vinegar burning but maybe because I grew up eating home canned pickles where it was the vinegar used.Still it is not a vinegar I like the taste of strait so for the most part I seldom use it.To me the best tasting vinegar is malt vinegar.I even use it on my freedom fries when eating at Long John Silvers.(They have it in those little packets like ketchup).
wyantm06 You said you don't take vitamins because they make you feel bloated & nauseous. If you can tolerate them at all you should at least take 1 good multiple like Centrum everyday. The currant recommendation is to cut one of these in half & take 1/2 with breakfast & the other with dinner. For me I add a 500mg C,400IU E,& a couple of fish oil capsules for the omega 3's.I don't eat a lot of fish because a lot of it contains mercury.Maybe 1 can of tuna a week ,sometimes some canned salmon(fried patties),& some LJS .But If I was closer to a coast I would probably eat more fish.Right now I've let my weight creep up a bit 205 lbs but I carry it well.As spring & summer comes I will shed down to about 190 lbs.But my average calorie intake is about 4500.Less when I cut out the soda pop.
destructionfever congrats on the weight loss. You must be doing what works for you.
