I've been getting into the computer type jobs that interest me. I've tried Web Design, it's fine, but I want to see what else is out there. I stumbled upon Game Developing, and wanted to learn more about it. I did some research, and want to look more into programming or design.

I have a few questions, would this be something to look into as a future job? Like will it be in demand? I like the idea of having a group of people, who do each job, and make it whole.

If I want to follow through on this, I would plan on taking some college courses, so I wouldn't do all of my learning online and with books.

I personally would stay away from game design. Its a very risky business, costs a lot and can take a very long time in school depending on the route you take (coding, or graphic design) and gaming on PC's is starting to fade out, so you would be deving for consoles.

Right now, and for the forceable future Web Design is where it is at.  And i'm talking real web design not geo cities and slapping some HTML together and calling it a website.

If you come up with a good idea and build it right more people will see it then you ever could imagine. And before you know it your mark zuckerberg
