I have an old CD-ROM in my CwaPU, I nt to replace it but the problem is I can't remove it, the PIN that connects the POWER SUPPLY to my CD-ROM is locked! Do I have to force it or there is better way to remove it? Then what?

is it a standard 4 pin molex connector? http://www.nuggetlab.com/comptia_files/equipment/perif_Molex%20style%20power%20connector.jpg

There should be no reason why its locked, unless someone glued it in there.

Try wiggling the head of the connector to loosen it. Don't pull the wires.
