Anyway here it is the 2003 Anniversary Edition Fat Boy my pride and joy, garage kept, only had 16k on her when we got her, one hell of a nice ride if I do say so myself! Enjoy folks!

I bought this saddle bad today, the thing is the thickest leather I have ever seen made into a bag. It's riveted, and has a weaved strip on each corner, bold as hell.   I had to have it,it's bad ass. The thing is, the black rubbs off severely, the guy told me it would take  " a while " before it stopped it, but it is so bad, that you cant touch it, or your hands turn black, powdery like.

I wet it, to mold it a bit to my liking, and I'm drying it now, ( done that before ).

But what kind of tanning or staining would this be, and what do I have to do to it. This guy also gave me a can of this spray he said spray the hell out of it.  I can't find much on the net about this, so maybe someone has info. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Just thought I would throw it out there. Lamp black is made from soot. Have you tried call a leather tannery or supply store?
