yeah it's a macho thing , I used to see it that way ,until my first glider flight, We joined a flock of migrating Canadian geese flying in "V" formation , and by using  the air brakes , flew as a wingman to the group , the first time I truly understood nature , and how we just belive we  understanding it ,
how they use the  elements ,an art we have truly lost , they  flew on for a thousand miles , I just had 20 minuets , kinda puts life into perpective , well it did for me ,
