Yeah, nursing home are always hiring, and as you climbthere is really money to be made, And a great place to get experience.   

I have more than 2 cents on this.Normally I would take the parents side but this is bad parenting.So I hope I'm right in taking your side.
This is crazy on a whole lot of levels.Take the car & a place to live; now that's really going to help you get an equal or better job.
Now if after a couple of months of you hadn't even looked for a new job & all you did was party then I might be for something like that.Not like this immediately.

Most of the time it would be the other way around.You have a job & have for a while & you are told you need to find your own place.
I think the boyfriend was just looking for an excuse to kick you out.Correct me if I'm wrong.

Now for your mom the one that should have made this decision without the boyfriend.She should kick him out or move herself depending who owns or leases the property.There could be some legal mess if they both do.If that is the case then probably all she has to do is stand up to him .I don't think there is any law that would keep her from allowing a guest to stay.I'm sure there are a lot of factors that I don't know about but from what I've read so far.Your mom needs to get her own place & let you live there at least till you get a job & find your own place if that's what needs to be done.
One more question : Where is your biological father?If that's too personal just say he's out of the picture.

tdawnaz;You know a great deal more than I do about the past of this.
I think sst should remind the bf of his help with the money.He might even be able to sue & get some of it back since he was under no legal requirement to support the bf or make a "gift" of money to him.
At least on the TV court shows a lot of the time a "gift" like that becomes a loan.
Since I bet there was no verbal or written contract for sst to pay rent he's probably off the hook for that.If there was a contract then he only has to prove that amount was paid.
If there were no receipts or other proof then all are screwed to some degree.
In the end I still think mom should kick the bf to the curb.

OH wow, so much has come to light. The B/F is damned lucky I was not his girlfriends son. I'd have screwed his world up like I did my stepdads. He was glad to be gone after it was over.  Did you know you can total a pickup without it even moving?    Had to leave the state for that one. But it was worth it, and he never did try to come into my life again.
