If I was SST and some asshole was beating my Mom, He better never go to sleep around me. I'd wear him out with a cast iron frying pan in his sleep.

Tommie, aren't you kind and generous?
Of course, glad you noticed.

We are a state border apart and several miles.
Not sure....well I probably am. But not sure it would be a great place....ok, I wasn't invited.
Besides I might be a bit too ornery. But if I remember tright he does have an attractive mom to say the least. And knowing SST they both definately deserve way better treatment. Bums are a dime a dozen. So not to hard to replace them.
And not so sure SST wants a 7 & 8 year old sisters.

No offense meant, and I don't want to interfere, but this has kind of turned into something that should have been left to PMs.

I hear what your saying, but Starship_Troopers started this thread, he is a valued friend of many here including myself. We are very concerned for him, and his well being, the sheer fact that he felt open enough to put his life out there for us to comment on, so that he might take something from this and use it to his benefit, shows his sincerity and comfort in talking w/ us. I feel we should respect this to the fullest.
This thread WILL NOT be derailed by
anyone

What about tempary service places. They are always hiring. Not sure where ya live, but allot of towns have places to stay based on income. Like high rise apartments, stuff like that.
Been there done that tons of times. Scary yea, but you will manage, learn, and what does not kill us makes us stronger. If you live near a major river there is barge work, Good money. Or major lake, again boat work but good money. Honestly, If all else fails, I would go to the local welfare office, tell them you just wanna work, they may have some ideas.
Just keep asking around. You would be shocked at the possibilities, you just gotta ask. Which your doing now, thats a good thing. Sometimes others come up with ideas you may of not thought off.
There is job training services, maybe something in that area?? Again hit the welfare, and job service, just tell them your looking for work and ideas. Your good with computers, what about some local computer repair shops. Instead of a paycheck, tell them you will do the work for a percentage of the labor.
Keep us updated when ya can, hang tough man. May get ahold of the ymca. See about a place to crash, they may have some ideas. If all else fails, get ahold of family if possible. Don't let your pride get in the way.
One last idea, Hospitals and Nursing homes always looking for help. May not be the best, but its a paycheck.

I 100 percent disagree. Many minds may come up with a soulution to a issue. He is just asking for ideas, and someone may come up with something that may just help him out. That imho is what forums are about.

he didn't come in here on a pity pot...he's asking for input from his fellow tmn'ers...it's okay...thru pm's he would only get help or ideas from a few...this way everyone put's their heads together to help him come up with a solution...now isn't that the idea of the tmn forum...help to solve a problem...this just happens to be a problem with life and living and surviving...pretty critical problem...but a lot of loving folks in here to support in the only way we can...
i sent him a txt msg...and i'll let u know what i
hear
