 cheesy

I mean stumbled too. I think my gray matter is dribbling outta my ears.
I set up a network with my desktop and my laptop. Speeds could be better.
A whole lot better then a few days ago when I was running as fast almost as dialup.

Laptop I have some work to do yet to get it cruising close to speeds it should be.

Then I have to figger out the other side of the boot on the laptop which is Linux. I made
the mistake of downloading the latest OS and it's not good.

....Slowly working through one cluster fork at a time.....

What I mean is, there are dozens of distributions out there, each a different flavor of linux. If you compiled your own Kernel, or LKM, was it the stable version "2.6.25.3 " or the unstable  version "2.6.26-rc2".  Nice to see someone good at writing code in "C"  icon_thumright
