Was going to ride up to Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin for the week to party, but the wifes mother is getting real bad with Alzheimer's. So I got to stay home and take care of the Cats. But you can bet I'll find something in the area to do!!

Spend time with the girls. Whatever happens.
As to the cats, extra food and water is not enough? Spoiled I'd say.
Our dog does fine for 2 or 3 days.

If I went I would stay up there for a couple weeks.
re-ring my motor and dial it in on a Dyno. So I propably wait until the 4th of July. Now thats a good party.

All my friends know when I'm coming down the road. They all say the same thing theres no Harley around here that sounds like it does. When I start it up at bars people come out to see what it is.

I will most likely just be "chillin" playing CoD 4 on PS3. I don't want to go anywhere really, when I go out I end up breaking the diet.

is that because you pick up a couple stray cats from the pound before you go? as "emergency rations"?

, Sunday I am off on a car run to the coast , (Citroen 2CV ), been doing this for the past 20 years , time for my 32 year old car to hit the road again , and meet up with a lot of old friends from across Europe , have a few beers and chill out , buy a few spares cheap etc., Hey, the 2CV does 50 MPG ,
and UK petrol at $9.12 USD for a American gallon over here in the UK ,
and rising fast ,same as the cars value

I like that car.
...........
BTW, the engine size is 36 cubic inches , so maybe not Coknuck ????.
copy of the BMW 600cc boxer twin ,but with a bit of tuning good for 85 mph ,
but takes some work on the gearchange to keep it a 5,500 -6,500 revs , but good fun from a cheap 1947 design car , now worth 5 Times it's new cost in 76 ,
I just turned down a straight swap for a 2007 volkeswagen golf GTI, but kept the girls phone number
, as she always wanted a ride in a 2CV,
, ....................
BTW, back on topic "memorial day " we don't have that in the UK, this weekend is May bank holiday ,
day off from work on Monday , for the unfortunate workers
and the UK weather forecast is RAIN ,

indeed it is the same type Tommie , but that one is the normal 6 light version , mine is the 4 light version ,
difference is the extra window behind the passenger door as sold in the UK, mine is the 4 light |(windows ) and has the rear indicators fitted in place of the window , and was specially imported , it was the cheaper version in France , but worth more for it's rarity , only about 5 in the UK now ,
lol ,I must try and find that film , never seen it , and thanks for the head up on that, there are some in the States , but never officialy imported as they fail the crash tests ,

roco, you failed to mention that the reason the 2cv failed the us crash test was because it couldn't get to the required speed in the space available at the testing facility.

Leave it to the british.
Similar to the volkswagen beetle. It left the us because it failed by a very minute amout on the emissions scale. And VW said "F" you and so that was the end of the here. So stupid of the US, I loved those cars. But we all know how ignorant the US gov't can be. And cheap. And you talk about get around in the snow, they do not need snow tires for real. I used to pass cars that had them.
