Recommended Tests

Who do you  really think wants to quit. I didn't. Several times I told myself this just is not working. I feel worse now. It was not that bad lighting up. I had to keep remembering the reasons I started quitting in the first place. It had to be important enough to do it and keep on going.

This has to be easier than a concentration camp.    Meaning this is not that bad, all you have to do is say I want to do it. And until then, its your habit, not anyone elses.  Except they say those around you.

So I could talk till I am blue in the face, but if you do not want to really quit, this thread is one of the stupidous ones yet then.   

So when you decide you are really ready and not until, you are hereby blackballed from this thread.   

I didn't really mean to sound that harsh, but it is true. You can not make a drunk quit. All you can do is take away his alcohol. He has to want to quit.

I have a black friend who quits drinking every year. I think it just gets him off of the street to a warm place for a while, and no bills. Its free for dry out at the VA hospital.  And it always happens in the winter. 

He always says I quit drinking again. And I always say anymore "yeah till the next drink comes along." And it never fails. Till he gets some money in his pocket again. He has done this for so long, I quit being supportive of him. This winter will make over 10 years running. 

And the latter part "So when you decide you are really ready and not until, you are hereby blackballed from this thread. " was mostly a joke momma.
