I just went up 8K.... all I did was turn ON   ipv6  ,not off...on....   I have no router,,XP pro,Fox,  turn off Zone alarm ....
I am looking forward to see what Linux UBUntu does,,  no dual boot either..  comments???

I dumped Windows forever..YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! never go back
I am Ubuntu 7.10, no dual boot, and now get 62K on Wildblue..
a few tweaks  and maybe can get to 70-80. Probably not higher than that.
plenty good enough for work and the boonies.
