Hi all,
I just got this evdo seirra aircard 580 from my isp and i tell you, i get 100Kbps as opposed to the promised 300Kbps, i have RSSI of this range -89 dBm to -74 dBm(i cant interpret that) but it says full bars

What do i need to do, any tested and working utility as i have downloaded many that did not work.
I need your help guys.

hi there hello webdezzi...welcome Welcome! the to testmy.net forum...i'm sorry i don't know anything about your evdo...i just wanted to welcome you...

where are you testing? here or your isp's site??... you could try the smallest test here http://www.testmy.net/speedtest/d_load.php or our new iphone test (still under development) here http://testmyiphone.com works really well for some...

so try that while you're waiting for someone to come in here and help you with your settings...and again welcome icon_salut ...

Your signal much like mine is good and I even have two different antennas I use. One at a time of course. But it  is most likely just traffic, I have tried and tried also. Sometimes you just cannot help traffic by the ISP.  Very Happy

 So have you tested of a night say after midnight or early morning like before 8 am?  If you get your speeds then, thats all there is.

 And welcome to the forum.  Very Happy
