I'm wondering about how I would go about simply making this Network connection? Possible, Lol. GEEK

It was named 8 because you probably ran the network setup a few times or somethings. Renaming it is all you need to do to fix that.

I dont remember being able to rename a network connection.   But hey, it's been quite a while since I used windows for anything but playin games.  evil6

it happens if you have created network connections several time using different or the same Lan card.
