is it really true that having a firewall enable makes internet connection slow??  Question

im running on a "commodo firewall".........

Download Connection is:: 481 Kbps about 0.5 Mbps (tested with 512 kB)
Download Speed is:: 59 kB/s
Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (Main)
Test Time:: 2008/09/22 - 10:27am
Bottom Line:: 8X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 17.36 sec
Tested from a 512 kB file and took 8.714 seconds to complete
Download Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 26.58 % faster than the average for host (smartbro.net)

I use Comodo firewall and doesn't make a difference in my speed at all.

nope it doesn't. it monitors the connection that is going in and out from your pc... but it doesn't influence it... it's like a security guard.. looking at the passersby.
