I guess I am going to make myself unpopular here , ( more so ? )
America is not the centre of the world , try thinking outside your self contained box ,
There is a bigger world than just the good ole USA ,

China , Russia,  Europe is bigger ,  not that it proves anything , the dinosaur was  biggest creature , it died out  ! ,

Ok, you have a new ( soon to be President ) who wants to open up a dialog with the world ,and I get posts saying he is black  , the way I see it he is ½ white ,
Even El Qaeda is willing to talk , ( face it you ain’t beaten them yet )
A month back you where talking  lets go to war over Georgia ,  the rest of Europe was saying hold on a while , Russia moved in only as a peace keeping force  in a small part of that country , and it worked out OK ,  the despotic ruler of Georgia didn’t want peace ,
But was just looking for American $$$$,  nothing more , you guys nearly walked into an ambush there , IMHO

Already I have seen posts on Obama’s future failures , ?  LOL , talk about giving the guy a chance , indeed Europe welcomes you new leader ,  time for change maybe , only time will tell on that  if you give him chance,

Is your naming French fries freedom fries serious ?  ,  I tried not to laugh over that ,
Is it due to Frances reluctance in the Iraqi war ? , if so you seriously misjudged and insulted France ,  You may have lost 3000 folk in 9/11 , but France lost 7million fighting for world freedom , yours a well as mine ,

I guess just my European thoughts on our armistice day , in honour of the worlds  war dead

Freedom fries was just stupid.  The only reason it started was because "Cubbies" was doing poorly financially, and Walter Jones (who I love), wanted the political attention.

Their food sucks anyway.

. OK I done with it anyway , just added my European view on the way forward ,IMHO,
