 You have a good point fred, about making too many waves but , there getting much more bold then ever. Our civil liberties are being stripped in the name of security, and the people are so apathetic about it, they wont see the light until it's too late. The media has the better percentage of population " schnookerd " into not only asking for it, but demanding it.

well this is kinda political so I was keeping out of it ,  but as the Brit Prime Minister has spoken his words of wisdom ,  guess it's time to throw my hat in the Ring ,
I have no love for Dear Prudence Brown ,  but I can follow his reasoning on "New world order " , lets face it the old world order has failed big time , anyone that couldn't see that comming must have been living in la la land , it's been brewing for the last 10 years or so ,
we have been dreaming and living in a dream utopia , we don't trust Muslims , but we use their oil etc ,  we ain't keen on China either but we buy all their produce ,
now we are squealing our ass has got bit ,....wake up the West
maybe it's a slap in the face , and it's going to cost us big time ,
but maybe time to eat humble pie ? , maybe indeed time for a "new world order ? ",time to stop screwing the poor of the world and sing from the same Hymn sheet ? , is that not what the Christian faith is all about ? ,
not being a Christian I can't answer that , but it makes me stop and think some ,
I don't see any political conspiracy just some overdue plain truths comming home to roost ,
just my view , feel free etc.

do your American workers see themselves as middle class , ? , not so in the UK ,
workers are working class by definition  over here ,middle class are doctors and lawyers upwards etc, I have always been working class and proud of it , although I don't work for a living  , I guess thats because we have a upper class , lords of the realm etc,
  most of our poor are the working class , 

it is only a constant under the old order , Russia went that way 25 years back , then it all changed with the colapse of the soviet system , even the Romans with their grand empire ,and indeed Britain with it's late 18c empire thought it was a constant , not so, the world has always been in a flux, no one nation can hold the reins forever , or indeed IMHO should do so ,
