Can anyone provide insight in on the fact that I can only get around 480 Mbps on my 1 gigabit connection anywhere (Its located in Dallas TX)

It shares these backbones with other computers

Im usually routed through Level3 or Global Crossing...

Got a question why are you trying to show the softlayer bandwidth graphs? If there is a issue with your server at softlayer give them a call.
