i'd say "wow ur teacher needs to get a sense of humor...but yeh don't be the class clown...save that for outside of school"...but the teach needs to get a grip...let the petty S#!t go...unless this is an everyday all day thing with this kid...

but u gotta figure this was not the first time...and a cry for help on the teachers part...that's my take on it...

 Definitely an over reaction.Unless this was the hundredth time this student did this.
It's a good thing this teacher wasn't teaching in my generation HS late 60's early 70's.We constantly challenged authority.By this teachers reaction all the students would have been in detention.Except for the ones that refused to take detention & once big enough told teachers that they would consider a swat assault & use self -defense if they tried it.That usually resulted in suspension but I wanted a short vacation anyway
