Gurus!
addendum to the Q's above...thus changing/upgrading the canopy software will chinge the DL speed and or change the aggregates?(currently i have a 512...) too slow on my internet speed... angry

Not being a smartbro customer, or ever having been, I do have a basic understanding of the system, and simply changing the software will not increase the bandwidth, this is allocated through the ISP ie: smartbro. It may however increase stability, and overall performance.

512 seems to be the average SB download speed, if your achieving this, then your doing pretty good comparatively.

Yea well, you know something, there's always gonna be someone that gets better speeds, no matter what connection we have, so you know, I guess we just accept it, and realize it's much better then it was several yers ago, but then gain, we didn't know what 1000 k  download looked like, we got 14,000-45,000 BITS , thats it bits, not bytes or KB, thats  single data units  :haha: :haha: Maybe something to think about while your getting "slow" speeds. It took up to 3-5 minutes to download a webpage full of chicks at that time  :haha: :haha:

Nice download speed. actually.. you can increased your Download speed by editing it in canopy...

if you see in your canopy.. you can see that Download link is 500 and uplink is 500 which is default.. you can simply place 600 downloadlink 400 uplink.. its your choice...but im using the default one which is 500 to 500 =1000...
