I'm on Cox's 5/2 plan. Upload is fine even a little better than normal with 2.5MB. However, for downloadI am getting 0.5M. What gives? Thanks for your time. This is on Wireless with the Linksys Wireless G PCI Adapter. The computers directly connected through the router work just fine.

Hmmmm..... Thats weird. Have you tried restoring your router to factory defaults, installing new firmware and then connecting and testing before changing any settings in the router? I would start there.

Are you running wireless security? I had one time with my linksys router wrt600n with the org firmware if i would run wpa-tkip i wouldn't get much throughput to my wireless devices and when i change over to aes it was like I put a Blower on a BiGBlock!  I know this shouldnt even have happened, but i did verify it at the time.  All I can attribute it too is a bug in the firmware... Now I don't have that issue after upgrading the firmware... but at that time when i was having a similar issue I drove me bonkers....Won't hurt too Look.
