Hi my internet download speed is 1.00mb/s but it send a file just 120kbs/s how do i speed up it please help me(i'm running on Windows Xp).Thanks

can you post a speed test result, your ISP, your package you are paying for? it helps a little. we  will get ya more help that way  wink

I am going to assume your supposed to be getting 1 meg service and are only getting 120 k's on the test. My first responce would be to try this link first, then do what Ryan suggested.

Hi guys im runing on Windows xp (server pack 3) my speed test is here: download:0,78mb/s upload:0.3mb/s   and im payng 50lt (thats 14eu)  i treid to cleanit up but its still just 120kB/s    im uing DSL

1 megabit per second( aka mb/s) is roughly equal to 125 kilobytes per second( or known as kB/s)
You are getting what you are paying for

to improve your internet speed or firefox whatever it may be,simple thing is delete all your temp files and do not open multi screen at a time..these two are most affect your speed...further doing all simply check your connection speed..

Thats not bad, turn off a few unneeded things that are running in the background and keep it clean, it might improve? Have you tried the TCP Optimizer?
