Yes, just download the program, then search for the ccs file that matches your connection, make sure to restart when you apply the settings. You may have to try several files before you find the one that works best.

greetings!

==> How can i tweak my mothers computer if it is a old computer with win xp home swedish version. i did it once before and i success but i dont remember what i did. it´s not the usual guide here...

Files from your old computer with xp home swedish version is "Fragmented" or scattered throughout the hard disk. when you retrieve a file, the hard disk "gathers" the scattered file, in order for you to open it. this "gathering" of file fragments takes time. thus, slowing your system.

you better use a defragmentation software on that "old computer".  Windows has its own defragmentation software, but i recommend the following:

1. defraggler ==> http://www.defraggler.com/

2. disk defrag ==> http://www.auslogics.com/disk-defrag

please download any of these Free software, then install your choice.

after installation, please DO reboot/restart/shutdown to Refresh your system.

before running the installed defragmentation program, please make sure that hibernation is off, suspend off, any software program that can hinder the running defrag must be set to Off.

this may take hours to finish because you have an "old computer".

LEAVE the computer while running the defragmentation program; DO NOT do anything on the computer like typing, playing games, etc.

Let the defragmentation program Finish its task.  if you have an internet connection, please unplug the cable.

hope this helps.
