Hey im pretty new here but ive posted in a few other sections, and took some of the test on this website because i was wondering why my upload speed was slow compared to my download when i checked this site it sure proved me right here are my results

Overall Diagnosis compared to :rr.com
» Download Speed » Looks Great : 17.58 % faster than the average for compared host (rr.com)
» Upload Speed » May need help : running at only 50.35 % of the compared hosts average (rr.com)

i dont know how i can be 17% faster and then 50% slower!
if anyone knows whats wrong or anything i can do please let me know! thanks! oh and its usually a 25Mb/s Down and only .37Mb/s Up

State your advertised speeds your supposed to be getting, and post a dual speed test if you would. I am sure a simple explanation would then be easy enough.

okay thanks yeah sorry for the double post :p i didnt know where i should put it, and okay i did the test on this site and it came back with the %'s i posted ill get the speeds tho in the next post (on my laptop now) but my router is a Linksys WRT54G2, ive tryed bypassing it with dmz and still the same results also, im gonna try no router at all next see if thats different

^theres a test off another site just for an idea and thats about average numbers i get.

the upload speed on this is consistent with my other post but the download is way lower here but always reads that after a few tests
