thanks man, and since its usually 849.99 and i got it for 799 its quite a steal IMO.   im psyched because it jsut got released right before i logged in to order it. and to think...i was gonna order a cheapo laptop and use the rest of my spending cash for other things, but now with that plan gone for good, i could spend more money on a better machine

I wonder if there are any computer sellers out there that would ship a Vista machine, as a Windows 7 , cause it comes with the upgrade disc?  undecided

The Intel Core 2 Duo does get very good reviews over quad cores.

Nice laptop that should do well on some games. The only thing that annoys me is it has a 6 cell battery. But Intel pwns for battery life. I would say Max out the RAM and let it FLY !!!

definately, i estimate a 3.5 hour battery life probably...with all settings on power save or whatever...but honestly it will be plugged in 99% of the time. i just go lots of places so i wanted somethin portable and something to replace a desktop i had.
