I'd like to make a website showing my images, i want to record what i'm doing in a more fashionable way than photobucket.com.  I know nothing of html, but I would like to design the page layout and create all of the graphics, borders, textures and whatnot in photoshop.  The only website related thing i've done is to make a geocities thing, but that program really sucked.  I'd like to pay little or no money to make this possible.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks- i have another question althought it might make me look like an idiot.  Do I need to have a domain and a server?  Whats the difference between these things?

server = where you store files and a domain = link to server

domain is the www address.. you dont need a domain but if you want to look professional that is the way to go..   plus you are going to be on a shared server.. so you address is going to be www.ispname.com/~username most likely..  a domain registers the ip address of the server and root with a DSN server so that when your www address is typed it is pointed to your server.. fun stuff..

You pretty much need a domain if you get real hosting... if your hosting starts with http://www.hostingsite.com/~name then you better be getting it for free... and if you don't get a domain then your going to have people typing in the ip of the server rather than a catchy 8 dollar a year domain name.

sin0cide- i am forever in your debt! i have Image Ready so i can start making my own templates and whatnot right away! i'm going to shop for a domain name.
please let me know when i can set this up, i'm really excited! ( i even made my first webpage in notepad today wooho)
