heres my speeds from elink.....on my desktop using wireless g card

Connection is:: 4600 Kbps about 4.6 Mbps (tested with 2992 KB)
Download Speed is:: 562 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Test Time:: Sat Mar 05 2005 17:21:21 GMT-0600 (Central Standard Time)
Bottom Line:: 82X faster than 56K 1MB download in 1.82 sec
Diagnosis: Looks Great : 15.52 % faster than the average for host (mindspring.com)

does anyone know if my speeds would be higher if i direct connected my modem to my computer, instead of using the wireless g desktop card???

If you are running wireless I'm pretty sure it will but if you are running it through a router with ethernet you wouldn't see much of a difference. Smile
