$3.89 per gallon in Central Arkansas. Looks like it's time to buy a bike.
That works for guys without kids. But I went out and bought a Explorer 4x4 that gets 22mpg. It'll have to do till better used cheap cars become available.
Yeah, only gave $895 for it a week ago.

It's $3.97 here in New Jersey, but we still get our gas pumped for us!
I have a four wheel drive 1/2 ton pickup truck and travel 21 miles one way to get to work , so a little car is also in my future too.

Today there's supposed to be severe storms later, but I'm still takin it, it's been wet many times before .

50 years old to be exact, as of last month. I am more into Street rods than Corvette ,but I would take either one and the sweet young bimbo too.

The price of oil has surged to a fresh high passing the $140 a barrel level.
Light sweet crude for August delivery touched $140.39 on the New York Mercantile Exchange

any predictions for gas price by end of summer , anyone want to make a compertition on this, something like, first prize 100 testmy net invisible bucks , ??? loser's get their tanks drained
edit to add this news
The spike in the price of oil followed comments from the producers' organisation Opec about the prospect of oil at $170 a barrel this summer.

$3.89 here.
I predict it to rise by $.50 per gallon in the next eight days.
And then drop back a bit a few days later. And the final pullback is after December 31 midnight. Then the cycle starts all over again in the spring.
