hi, that s ADSL2+ capped at 12Mbps. i am please to to be trying your cablenut tweak. nut i have a problem sometimes, it s when i do the test, the speed results are different, i mean the connection doesnt seem to run as fast as everytime, dont knwo why ?!
f i tweak followed by ur calculation programme, what is the most latency do i put in, from the server of my ISP to my PC or from where to where, thanks!

adsl is alot harder to tweak then cable, but i can see your very close to optimal settings now
a good value to use for calculating is 150 to 300 ms for all connections, in my version 7 of my tweaks i choosed to set TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpwindowsize to 44 x MSS thats 64240 for a MTU of 1500.
that seems to work very well.
I dont know what version of my tweaks your using, but i suggest you test the OOL 10000 / 1000 file and only adjust DefaultReceiveWindow. As a tumb rule it should be 1024 x your cap in kB/s
for you thats (12000 / 8 ) x 1024 = 1536000
thats a very large RWIN, and if you have packetloss your speed will be very inconsistant.
when i had a 10 Mbps cap i was using 384000 and that was optimal for me, you can try that aswell.
for determing the latency, look here
http://thegamer.serveftp.com/FAQ.htm
but its many times better just to test, the measurment of a latency is almost impossible.

thanks for replying very quickly, i am using ADSL PPPoE so thereforce, the MTU is 1492, i used the website you mentioned before to someone to calculate all things and get a CSS file, put in the Cablenut programme and all done. i am also testing with TCP optimizer from Speedguide and it works well, the TCP size it gives me is 522720. just wanna squeeze a bit more from my connection so trying different programmes to tweak. your one works quiet well, but just not stable, not sure because of the testmy server or your tweak programme, i really need a bit more time to monitor my connection to tell, which programme is the best for me...anyway, thanks a lot for your tweaks, nice to see you here, help everyone...

this is my new result, still tesing with some more tweaks:
::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 10916 Kbps about 10.9 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB)
Download Speed is:: 1333 kB/s
Tested From::
http://testmy.net/
(server1)
Test Time:: Sat Aug 13 12:43:22 UTC+0800 2005
Bottom Line:: 195X faster than 56K 1MB download in 0.77 sec
Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 642.59 % faster than the average for host (net.au)

i am using the site you mentioned somewhere to tweak the address is here:
http://www.j79zlr.com/cablenutXP2k.php
is that the most accurate tweaks to use?
