The most you’ll be able to do is to increase your FSB (front side bus) of course it will depend on your motherboard.
Do you already have ample cooling?
Which Windows are you running?

pentium 4 - 3.4GHz
1G ram, i presume 2 stick
i dont have a clue about the modo

256mb graphics

Sure try OCin it. The cooling isn't the greatest so just see how much you can up the FSB without raising VCore that way no worries about heat. You might be surprised at how much you get at stock Vcore. Very Happy

Well, i also have a AMD Athlon XP 2400+ with pc 2400 ram... maybe that will be able to be overclocked? thanks, Tim

I think people should dive into tweaking software (operating systems and whatnot) way before tweaking hardware.
