The local gaming center here in Conway, AR has the 6/512 plan that I think was only offered for a short time.  Anyone else have this package?  Keep in mind that there are many people on the network here.

I'm guessing that is for adsl why would a gaming center have adsl it should have sdsl or t1 or higher  all someone would have to do is  start taking all the bandwidth

I think it has like 22 computers or something, but at any given time there aren't but maybe 10 computers being used (except of fridays and saturdays) and this line suits it just fine.  Most of the people play on LAN (which is actually the whole point of a gaming center) so there's no need for anything faster.  I don't even think it's possible to get anything faster here unless it's really expensive like T1, and even then, the download would be way slower.

Yeah, mostly LAN (usually world of warcraft  evil Mad angry5 evil3)  Sometimes CS, battle for middle earth, Halo 1 or 2 (xbox), which I'm fine with, just not world of warcraft  Mad.

By the way, for any Halo players out there......................

Halo 1 > Halo 2

For you Xbox, PS2, Gamecube, and PSP users here is a nice program:

XLink Kai is a global gaming network - bringing together XBox, Playstation 2, Gamecube and PSP users, in one integrated community. It is software running on your PC or Macintosh that allows you to play system-link enabled games online for free. Kai is the only service that is not console specific, and boasts one of the friendliest communites available. www.teamxlink.co.uk
