Micro Trend PC-cillin and abnormal test results

The usual suspect. Since I installed MicroTrend PC-cillin Internet Security, (without firewall) the numbers given by testmy.net are ridiculous! I have cable connection, but not at THAT high. How I get back reasonable numbers in my speed test?

There should be a setting in the program to add sites to a trusted list... add testmy.net to that list and go through the setting and "Permit All"

If that doesn't work you may want to just close IE, right click on the icon for the program in your task bar -- and go to disable.

or better just change your pccillin to other security softwares theres more better than the one youre already using
