I live in Rochester,IL and every night before and after 6 PM CST I will lose connection or will have very low speeds.I am one the basic package 4000/384. I went to their website and they said the peak hours r 6PM-12 CST. I also have a hard time having a stable connection speed. One min a 3.8MB and then 2.9MB then 1.8MB and sometimes even 800k.The upload is fine. I use a Microsoft MN-700 Base Station and i have even tryed hooking up directly to the cable modem(Moto SB 3100) and no still not any better. The sad thing is im about 15 min from their Springfield office. I think they will be upgrading their servers being that they will be introducing phone service in a couple of months. I can only hope that this fixes the problem.

I have vonage and have the exact same problems you're describing in the Anderson, IN area. Hiddeous speeds, latency, the whole ball of wax. Only it's 24 hours a day. They are allegedly bringing phone service here, but I was told that it was a traditional POTS line leased through the local telco (SBC) and not VoIP.
